Beginning in late June we have our summer program. What better way to start the kids’ summer vacation than to have them learning about their faith through fun activities, faith-filled lessons, and daily Mass. This is a great opportunity for the children to enjoy themselves as they put a smile on God’s face.
This program is for those who will be entering kindergarten through those entering 5th grade. Registration for this program begins in May.
Throughout the year we like to have various events for families that help promote the faith. At our Movie Nights we show films that help bring to life the Bible, lives of saints, and Christian virtue.
In the past we have had Advent wreath making, Catholic parenting seminars, parent and toddler play dates, and family oriented parties. Look in our weekly bulletin or check this web site for more types of events and activities in the future.
In the lower parish hall we have a selection of Catholic books that can be borrowed. Simply use the check out sheet that is on the clipboard. The books are organized according to themes, such as Bible study aids, Christ, Catholicism, Sacraments, Mary, Saints, and Christian living.
There are also a number of media options to check out: we have videos, DVD's, audio CDs, and even audio cassettes. We also have Catholic pamphlets, magazines, and holy cards for you to take free of charge.
Making use of our library is a great way to keep growing in your knowledge of the faith. If you have any books or media to donate to our library please contact our Director of Faith Formation. |
